Forget an easy Saturday workout. The Iron Movement is challenging participants to complete one seriously brutal mile featuring burpee broad jumps, walking lunges, bear crawls and farmer carries. Every entry helps raise funds to send eight KwaZulu-Natal athletes to represent South Africa at the UIPM Obstacle Course Racing World Championships in Beijing later this year.

KwaZulu-Natal's biggest celebration of the arts returns for its 34th edition—and it's bigger than ever. Alongside headline theatre productions, comedy, live music and family entertainment, this year's festival introduces the inaugural KZN Art Fair and the interactive Just Geekin' pop culture zone, plus more than 100 artisan stalls, food experiences and family attractions.
