Epic trail runs, live music, local food, and family fun are planned for the inaugural WESSA Ultra Trail Festival this October.

If you couldn’t imagine anything better than muddy trail shoes, spectacular scenery, great live music, and that typical KZN vibe, then we have a brand-new event you don’t want to miss.
The WESSA Ultra Trail Festival debuts on Saturday, 24 October 2026, transforming the WESSA uMngeni Valley Nature Reserve near Howick into a trail running mecca.
