Where should you book your next meal in KZN?

The newly announced 2026 Dineplan Reviewers’ Choice Awards give you some inspiration, with six KwaZulu-Natal restaurants recognised in the platform’s Top 100.

Now in its 5th year, the awards celebrate restaurants that consistently deliver memorable dining experiences.

What makes the list particularly interesting is how the winners are selected: rather than relying on a panel of food critics or industry judges, Dineplan uses verified diner reviews to recognise restaurants that earn high ratings from the people who actually visit them.

The 2026 awards are presented in partnership with American Express, drawing on more than 357 000 reviews from diners across South Africa
