Midlands Night Market – Halloween Edition

The Midlands’ night market is getting a spooky makeover for Halloween.

Expect a haunted house, trick-or-treating, live music, a beer tent, kids’ entertainment and plenty of food and craft vendors.

Come for the market, stay for the scares – and perhaps leave the lights on when you get home.

Halloween 2026: Riverside Massacre

With themed entertainment throughout the evening, this is one for the grown-ups looking to make a proper night of Halloween.

Ballito Halloween Horrors 2026

Fancy something more terrifying? Ballito Halloween Horrors returns to La Montagne Resort with two levels of Halloween mayhem.

  • The Full Horror Experience takes brave visitors through four terrifying worlds: Twisted Woods, Maze of Horrors, The Dark Hollow, and Realm of the Unknown.
  • The Not-Scary Experience offers family-friendly attractions including The Crooked Witch, face painting, carnival games, treats and Halloween-themed activities.

There will also be food vendors, artisanal market stalls, themed sweets, potion bars, live music, and DJs. Proceeds support animal rescue and search and rescue efforts.

Night at the Museum: Halloween Edition

Things are getting spooky at the KwaZulu-Natal Museum this Halloween, with a family-friendly evening packed with creepy creatures, magic and plenty of Halloween fun.

The Night at the Museum: Halloween Edition features a reptile show with Reptile Party Time, a magic show with Adrian the Magician, a Halloween-themed scare area, and activities for the whole family. Refreshments will also be available for purchase.

Halloween After Dark 2026: JumanGi at Gibaland

Enter the jungle if you dare. This Halloween, Gibaland transforms into the mysterious JumanGi Jungle, with a daytime adventure for families followed by a more thrilling experience after dark.

1. JumanGi Family Adventure

The daytime JumanGi experience invites families to step into the Gibaland Jungle for an interactive adventure filled with clues, challenges and surprises.

Participants will make their way through the jungle, solving clues, completing challenges and encountering mysterious characters along the trail. Designed with families and children in mind, the experience focuses on teamwork, exploration and plenty of Halloween fun.

2. JumanGi After Dark

When the sun goes down, the jungle gets a little more mysterious.

JumanGi After Dark takes visitors into a darker version of the jungle experience, with tougher challenges, unexpected twists and surprises around every corner.

And the Halloween fun doesn't end when you escape the jungle. Your ticket includes entry to the Halloween After Party, headlined by Black Mamba Man, with Dripson and Jim Jam on the decks playing a mix of techno, drum and bass, and psy trance.
