Durban Botanic Gardens is Africa’s oldest surviving botanical garden, spanning 15 hectares of lush, cultivated landscape. It is home to a remarkable collection of heritage trees – many of which are over 100 years old – adding to the garden's rich historical charm.

What to expect during your visit:

Visitors can explore the gardens on guided walks or golf cart tours, both offering fascinating insights into the flora and history of the site. The Gardens are also a favourite local spot for picnics, with sprawling lawns shaded by majestic trees providing the perfect setting for a relaxing day out.
