A new exhibition from the Estèsia artists' collective

Estèsia, the group of artists specialised in abstract art, hosts this exhibition that runs between July 1 and 29 in the Ecomuseu Farinera in Castelló d'Empúries and features guest artist, Josep Lacomba. The show, which fills the venue's three rooms, brings together paintings and sculptures never before shown by the collective, which is made up of Anna Torres, Carme Simó, Claudio Rojas, Coral Rivero, Gaietà Mestieri, Marta Gregori, Mònica Reche, Nick Bedford, Nico Bouselles, Rosa Moreno and Xefo Guasch. One of the rooms will be themed, featuring elements related to the flour ('farinera') industry.

Estèsia was created at the end of 2013 with the aim of promoting the genre of abstract art, and claiming the absolute as the origins of humanity. Josep Lacomba is a teacher at Barcelona's Massana art school, and was named a 'Master Artisan' in 2012 by the Generalitat of Catalonia.
