Festival del Castell de Peralada 2016

Not every festival manages to last for 30 years, but that's just the milestone that the Festival del Castell de Peralada will reach this year. This classic summer event will once more take over the medieval venue and its gardens throughout July and August. History and prestige are the hallmarks of Peralada, both thanks to its programmes and the unique setting. This year won't disappoint with acts such as Seal (Jul 23), Diana Krall (Jul 30), and tenor Bryan Hymel, one of the most renowned international opera singers of his generation who's been made famous for this commitment and scope. Among the operas that have been confirmed is Puccini's (Aug 6 and 8), with musical direction by Giampaolo Bistanti and stage direction by Mario Gas.
