Hurjaruuth, the Finnish company known for its wild, genre-bending physical theatre and acrobatic brilliance, returns with one of last season’s most talked-about hits. And the best part? There’s no spoken language in this piece – just bodies, objects and pure theatrical wonder – so it’s perfect for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

The uproarious, gloriously chaotic dance piece Tea at Six o’Clock (Teetä kello kuusi) is back on stage for a limited run. After wowing sold-out audiences last autumn with its inventive blend of acrobatics, physical comedy and surreal storytelling, the performance returns to Hurjaruuth’s home at Kaapelitehdas from 18 February to 14 March 2026, with 16 shows.

The story? Imagine a tea party that refuses to behave. A cast of performers and a collection of teaware get stuck in an endlessly looping ritual of cups, saucers and spoons. Then – gradually, gloriously – chaos takes over. Objects spin, tumble and fly across the space. Performers defy gravity with acrobatic movement that’s as playful as it is impressive. What starts as a poised social gathering turns into a riotous spectacle of reinvention, where everything rearranges itself over and over again… yet the clock always reads six.

Tea at Six offers younger audiences a chance to marvel at what the human body can do – and invites adults to laugh at the wonderfully elastic norms of grown-up life.
