Yoga Collective says
Ayurveda is the "sister science" to Yoga. Traditionally, Yoga and Ayurveda went hand in hand. One was not understood, nor taught, without the other. Ayurveda, or the “science of life” identifies individual differences, imbalances, and treatments using several modalities including diet, ritual, pranayama + self-care. For the Yoga Teacher or serious student, an understanding of Ayurveda is part of a complete yoga practice, and integral to offering a comprehensive class experience for students. In this workshop learn simple, yet advanced principles of Ayurveda specifically for the yoga teacher and advanced student to support inner balance and strength. Course is open to anyone. You do NOT need to be enrolled in Svasta Yoga School to take this course.
