The Jig is Up says
Two of Houston’s favorite Irish/Celtic bands and singer Abby Green will present two hours of wonderful traditional Irish and medieval music and song. The proceeds will go 100% to benefit the ACLU Texas Chapter. This concert will continue a series of “Sanctuary Sessions” that were held by traditional Irish musicians in many cities on March 5 to benefit the ACLU.
Wyndnwyre, featuring harp, hammer dulcimer, flute, whistles, guitar, and bouzouki, will present their favorite sets combining Irish and mediaval tunes and song. Abby Green will show off her great voice with traditional songs in Irish and in English. The Jig Is Up! (fiddle, flutes, whistles, accordion, piano, guitar, bodhran, vocals) will present some of our new traditional Irish tune and song arrangments.
Never a dull moment!
Seating is limited so get your tix early (link above - navigate to April 8 on the Duck's events calendar).
Note: We must inform our music fans that your admission fee will not be tax deductible, because of "value received.”
