The 9th annual Houston Holi 2016 is the largest and the most colorful HOLI in the USA attracting over15,000 revelers each year. Holi is the Indian Festival of color that symbolizes victory of good over evil. The sound of music and drums resonates through the air and everyone dances in celebration throwing color on their beloved, just as Lord Krishna did with his lover Radha. The herbal color powder is non-toxic and will available at Houston Holi for a nominal cost. It will be held on Saturday March 26 from 12 - 5pm at the Houston Farm & Ranch, a sprawling natural indoor/outdoor complex connected to the Bear Creek Park near I-10 & Hwy 6. Houston Holi 2016 highlights include all day Color Throwing, Music Festival with Live Singers, DJs spinning Bollywood & EDM, Cultural Performances, Rain Dance, Carnival Rides, and Ceremonial HOLI Bonfire lighting & Puja to invocate blessings from the Hindu gods. The festival will be teaming with Indian merchandise and delicious food booths. This is a family friendly event and everyone is welcome. Please wear white clothing you’re not afraid to get colored in.

Houston Holi is organized by Masala Radio, Tara Energy, & Aapka Colors – one of the largest TV channels for Indian entertainment. Our partners are Houston’s non-profit community organizations – Gujurati Samaj of Houston, India Culture Center, and Hindus of Greater Houston. Houston Holi is hosted by Sunil Thakkar, the lead Radio Jockey of Masala Radio and comedian from the reality TV show “Great Indian Laugher Challenge”.
