Join Houston Roller Derby for our second double-header game of 2015 on Saturday, March 21! Join Houston Roller Derby as they celebrate their TENTH season at their second double-header event on Saturday, March 21! After a nail-biting 2014 season, the Brawlers, Sirens, Bosses and Valkyries are back at it to kick off HRD's 10th season, and they're setting out to make this year our loudest, hardest, BIGGEST, most exciting season in HRD history! With the loss of 2014 retirees, the addition of new, talented skaters, and each team's hearty desire to win the 2015 Championship Cup, this year's season is expected to be nothing short of amazing. At last month's season opener event, the Psych Ward Sirens swept the Valkyries with their 10th consecutive season opener game win, and the Brawlers defeated the Bayou City Bosses after a big come back in the second half. Join us on March 21 to witness the Brawlers and the Psych Ward Sirens go head to head before the Bayou City Bosses take on the Valkyries! You're not going to want to miss these next two amazing bouts - we're not sure which game we're more excited for! HRD March 21 Double Header Event: Game 1: Psych Ward Sirens vs. The Brawlers Game 2: Bayou City Bosses vs. The Valkyries When: Doors open at 6 pm, First game whistle at 7 pm. Each bout has two (2) 30 minute periods, with breaks in between. All home bouts are double headers. Get there early to ensure best seating! *NOTE: We are sorry to say that Bayou Music Center will no longer allow us to bring in folding chairs due to fire hazards and safety concerns. Fans are encouraged to bring in stadium seat pads to sit on the floor or take advantage of the balcony seating. Chairs will be provided on the first floor / trackside seating areas for VIP ticket holders. HRD will also be selling stadium seat pads for fans at the merch booth.
