Rei Naito: Two Lives has been created especially for the space occupying a cascade of light in the Herta and Paul Amir building of the Tel Aviv Art Museum. Nato's works embody the Japanese aesthetic of the term “Hakanash” - a concept that expresses the fragile and temporary nature of things, which enhances its beauty. Two lives is the sixth in a series of installations created especially for the cascade of light - a unique geometric space, cast in curved concrete with an atrium 26.5 meters tall, that penetrates the museum with natural light that's reflection spreads to multiple levels in the space.
