A vibrant solo exhibit by an artistic icon
On exhibit at the Israel Museum through October 31, 2018, is a series of Cherkassky's paintings and drawings done over the past few years, looking back at the great immigration from Russia and the former Soviet Union in the early 1990s. This is the acclaimed Israeli artist's first solo exhibition – a beautiful blend of provocation, humor, and defiance as colorful as the characters that inhabit her works.
