Over centuries, we have come to associate the words "east" and "west" with many cultural symbols. The "East" brings up such Oriental practices as calligraphy, Buddhism, Feng Shui, chopsticks, martial arts, Mandarin, meditation and yoga. But what of these are truly "oriental"? And which elements have been falsely scripted by the Western World? 365 Ways of Doing and Undoing Orientalism casts doubt on these supposedly "oriental" elements in an exotic reimagining by choreographer Willy Tsao with Sang Jijia and Xing Liang.
