Manège - Batsheva Ensemble Dancers Create

Naharin could think of no better term than 'Manège' to describe the Young Ensemble "Dancers Create" evening. Manège, meaning a place where horses are both trained and allowed to run freely, gives the Young Ensemble the reigns for once, allowing them to explore and create their own individual movements. The program has been an annual event since the year 2000 and captures some of the most important ideals according to Mr. Gaga: creativity, freedom of movement, and 'disinhibition.'
