An introspective exploration of Israeli existence with the Jerusalem Dance Theater

In honor of Israel’s 70th anniversary, Eyal Nahum choreographed a personal expression relating to the founding of our society. Loading the space with characterizations of the historical and cultural Israeli narrative, the emotionally engaging work guides audiences to reflect on the environment in which we live. Nahum comments, “The show is a mosaic movement, with fascinating sounds and voices, charged with Israeli nostalgia and social memory…The show stems from a personal interpretation of formative events and gives viewers an emotional and aesthetic experience that moves like a pendulum between poetry and belligerence.”
