The Proudly South African Local Wine Expo returns to Prison Break Market from 24 to 26 July, bringing together around 30 local wine brands for a weekend celebrating the best of South African winemaking. From established wineries to emerging producers, visitors will have the opportunity to taste a diverse range of wines, favourites and connect with the people who craft them.

The annual expo celebrates South African winemaking while encouraging visitors to discover and support locally produced wines. From seasoned wine lovers to curious newcomers, the expo makes it easier for everyone to explore the diversity of South African wines all in one place.

Wine isn’t the only draw. Visitors can enjoy gourmet food, live entertainment and everything Prison Break Market has to offer, making it the ideal destination for a relaxed winter weekend. As well as introducing visitors to local wines, the expo helps local wineries build relationships with consumers, retailers, buyers and industry professionals.

Visitors can expect a blend of recognised wine brands and independent wineries, giving them the chance to sample wines from labels they may not have discovered before. The selection spans everything from rich reds and refreshing whites to elegant roses and sparkling wines.

Whether you’re keen to expand your wine collection, chat with local winemakers or simply looking for a relaxed weekend out, the Proudly South African Local Wine Expo is a celebration of South Africa’s rich wine culture and local craftsmanship.
