Drama galore: Alex Mall turns into potential wedding stage

Shoppers at Alex Mall were left stunned when a vehicle from the popular TV show You Promised to Marry Me pulled into the centre. Moments later, a woman dressed in a full white wedding gown stepped out, followed by two bridesmaids in matching pink bridesmaids' dresses, on a mission to confront her runaway groom.

The woman, determined to get answers, tracked down her partner at the mall - suggesting she knew exactly where to find him. The man, casually dressed and clearly caught off guard, was then publicly confronted about his alleged promise to marry her.

With cameras rolling, the dramatic confrontation quickly drew a crowd. Curious onlookers gathered to witness the unfolding moment, turning an ordinary shopping day into a live episode of reality television.

While the viral video, shared on social media, had no audio, it didn’t stop viewers from weighing in. The comment section lit up with reactions, many noting that Alex Mall seems to have a reputation for hosting unusual, entertaining events. One user joked that there’s “always something weird going on” at the centre.

The show You Promised to Marry Me is known for staging such confrontations, often giving partners a chance to hold each other accountable - and, in some cases, even leading to impromptu weddings on the spot. However, in this instance, it remains unclear whether the public call-out ended in a proposal or a breakup.
