A total of 120 local and international artists and DJs are gearing up to share six stages at the Wild Waters Complex in Boksburg for this year’s Ekurhuleni Spring Fiesta on 3 October.
Whether your flavour is house, hip hop, amapiano, deep house or AfroTech, there’s a tireless dancefloor for you at this musically cross-genre event that has serviced the palates of various music lovers for 16 years.
From art installations to surprise pop-ups and a host of local food trucks, the Spring Fiesta is a holistic cultural convention.
This year’s artist line-up lives up to the standard that fans have become accustomed to, boasting A-list artists like Msaki, Sun-El Musician, DJ Zinhle, Zee Nxumalo, Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Christos and many others.
Head of Talent Zane Gulston said over and above the stellar artist line-up, the most important element of the Spring Fiesta was the people who have been rolling with the event since the beginning.
More than a decade later, the event remains committed to continuing to push boundaries, creating unforgettable moments and bringing people together through music.
“This year, we’re celebrating where we’ve come from while turning the volume all the way up for what’s next. The line-up is insane, the energy is unmatched and we’re ready to make this one for the books. Let’s go!” Gulston said.
Since its launch 16 years ago, the Spring Fiesta has been very intentional about curating experiences that celebrate the incredible depth of South Africa’s dance music culture while introducing audiences to some of the world's finest artists.
This year’s international line-up features Atjazz (United Kingdom), Shane Johnson (Ireland), Euggy (Kenya) and many others from various parts of the world.
With this calibre of artists, it’s no wonder why this event continues to be among Mzansi’s leading premier lifestyle festivals.
