Fourways diners can add George’s Grill House to their list of places to try out when the restaurant opens a new branch at The View at Fourways Mall. The eatery will be serving steaks, sushi and weekday lunch specials. The opening date will be confirmed in due course, but the restaurant has already shared news of its arrival on social media.
Meat lovers can choose from ribeye and tomahawk cuts, or dig into the restaurant’s signature 600g T-bone steak. The restaurant has its own in-house butchery, but there’s more to explore beyond the beef. Mediterranean-inspired tapaz include grilled halloumi, prawn spring rolls and rock shrimp tempura, with sushi also on the menu.
The branch will open at The View, a recently opened destination for dining and lifestyle experiences next to Fourways Mall, bringing another restaurant option to the area. The View is already home to Pantry by Marble, where shoppers can pick up freshly prepared meals, baked goods and gourmet groceries or stop for ice cream.
A weekday lunch at George’s Grill House doesn’t need to cost a fortune. The R129 deal lets you choose between half a baby chicken, a fillet steak roll, a beef or chicken gyro or seven medium prawns, all served with chips. The 250g sirloin with chips or salad goes for R149, while R199 gets you four prawns, 200g sirloin and chips.
The ribs special offers 1kg of beef or pork ribs with chips for R299 and sushi lovers get 20% off their order. The lunch and sushi deals run until 5pm on weekdays. If you’re after the prawns-and-sirloin special, you can order it any time on Mondays and Tuesdays, or before 5pm from Wednesday to Friday. For the ribs special, you can visit from 5pm on Sundays or any time on Mondays.
With steaks, seafood, sushi and specials covering different days of the week, there’s a good excuse to give George’s Grill House a try when it opens in Fourways. Keep an eye out for the confirmed opening date so you don’t miss the chance to make the most of the deals.
