KissKiss, a new festival founded by the team behind loved Cape Town restaurant, also known as Kloof Street's iconic watering hole, Blondie, will host its inaugural event at Emmarentia Dam this November.
Headlining the event, which promises to showcase the best restaurants, chefs, live performances, and more, is globally renowned and Grammy Award-winning musical group, the Gipsy Kings by Diego Baliardo.
Known for their iconic song, 'Bamboleo', which currently has 90-million views on YouTube, Gipsy Kings' music blends Catalan rumba, flamenco, salsa, and pop into an undeniable symphony that will have you swaying your hips from side to side. The group mostly performs in Spanish but also mixes in Catalan, French, and other dialects originating from Southern France.

Taking place on 23 November, attendees can look forward to iconic songs from the band such as 'Bamboleo' and 'Volare'. With an exceptional line-up of artists, other performers include SAMA-winning pop trio Beatenberg and electronic dance-rock duo Roi Turbo, with more performers to be announced ahead of the festival.

While more details are still to be revealed, the event promises to be one that is "over the top" and a "music-and-food eruption".
Early bird tickets are currently sold out, with the current tier of tickets setting you back R495.
Time Out Insider Tip: With each new performer announcement, tickets will increase by R50, and tickets are limited within each tier announcement.
