The popular zoo will host its Morning With an Enrichment Officer event on 6 June, offering visitors a closer look into the world of behavioural enrichment for animals. The educational experience is designed to help attendees understand how enrichment activities improve animal welfare and encourage natural behaviour.

Visitors will first discover why environmental enrichment is so important for animal welfare. They will then get the opportunity to build their own hands-on enrichment item before watching it come to life when it is presented to the animals. Guests will also have the chance to observe the animals engaging naturally with the enrichment tools.
