Every successful business, career and entrepreneur has one thing in common: someone, somewhere, shared knowledge that changed the way they thought.

Sometimes, one conversation is all it takes to spark a new idea. One lesson can change the way you lead. One morning can shift the trajectory of your business.

It could come while listening to someone who's built an iconic brand. It could be sparked by a conversation over coffee with a fellow entrepreneur. It could arrive while hearing how a world champion overcame pressure, or how an innovator turned a simple idea into a thriving business.

Sometimes, all it takes is putting yourself in the right room.

That's exactly what the MANCOSA Jacaranda FM Business Breakfast aims to do.

Returning for its fourth edition on Monday, 17 August 2026, at the Vodacom Dome, Vodacom World in Midrand, this year's event invites South Africans to pause, think differently and be inspired by four remarkable individuals who have each built a legacy in their own way.

Hosted by MANCOSA and Jacaranda FM, the annual breakfast has become more than a networking event. It's a space where ambitious people gather to exchange ideas, challenge their thinking and leave feeling motivated to take the next step, whether that's in business, leadership or life.

This year's theme, Legacy Speaks, explores what it truly means to create lasting impact. ‘Legacy Speaks’ is more than a celebration of success. It's an invitation to learn from the people who have built it.

Taking to the stage are four influential South Africans, each bringing a unique perspective on business, leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation and creating lasting impact.

One of South Africa's most respected businesswomen and media personalities, Basetsana Kumalo will share her journey of reinvention, influence and building a personal brand that has remained relevant across industries and generations.

Former Springbok and Rugby World Cup winner Bryan Habana will unpack what elite sport can teach us about leadership, resilience, teamwork and performing under pressure long after the final whistle.

Entrepreneur and business strategist Pavlo Phitidis will offer practical insights for business owners looking to grow sustainably, navigate challenges and build organisations that stand the test of time.

Completing the lineup is Kimberly Taylor, founder and CEO of Loop, who will share her entrepreneurial journey and explore how innovation and problem-solving can create businesses that make a real difference.

But perhaps the greatest value of the morning isn't only found on stage.

It's found in the room.

The MANCOSA Jacaranda FM Business Breakfast brings together entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives, executives, students, side-hustlers and business owners from every stage of the journey. Some arrive looking for practical strategies to grow their businesses. Others come searching for inspiration, new perspectives or meaningful connections. Many leave with all three.

And you don't have to be running a multinational company to belong there.

Whether you're building a small business from the ground up, growing a side hustle, climbing the corporate ladder, leading a team, studying towards your future or simply looking for fresh inspiration, this breakfast is for you.

Because every successful entrepreneur was once someone with nothing more than an idea.

Every leader was once learning.

Every legacy started somewhere.

Events like these remind us that growth doesn't happen in isolation. It happens when we expose ourselves to new thinking, learn from those who've walked the road before us and surround ourselves with people who challenge us to think bigger.

It's also an opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals, entrepreneurs and decision-makers who understand the value of investing in themselves and learning from those who have walked the path before them.

In a world where we're constantly consuming bite-sized business advice through social media feeds and podcasts, there's something powerful about being present in a room filled with people who are all committed to learning, growing and building something meaningful.

Success leaves clues, and this breakfast offers the rare opportunity to hear directly from people who have built businesses, brands and careers that continue to make an impact.

You'll leave with more than just notes from four inspiring speakers. You'll leave with practical insights, renewed motivation, fresh ideas you can apply immediately, valuable new connections and perhaps even a different perspective on what your own legacy could become.

Because sometimes the most valuable investment you can make isn't in your business.

It's in yourself.
