Screaming! Tamia is coming to South Africa this August

R&B fans are in for a treat this August! 

Global superstar Tamia is heading back to South Africa, with a highly anticipated stop in Pretoria, just a short drive from Johannesburg.

While she’ll be performing in Pretoria, this is still a major win for Joburgers, who are known for their love of good music and vibes.

The award-winning singer will be in the country as part of The Biggest Women’s Month Celebration Tour Experience, bringing her signature soulful sound to local audiences once again.

Tamia shared the exciting announcement over the weekend, expressing her excitement about returning to South Africa following the success of her 2023 tour.

She is set to perform on 10 August at the SunBet Arena, Time Square. In addition to Pretoria, fans in Cape Town and Durban can also look forward to performances.

Judging by the overwhelming response to her previous shows, the 2026 tour is expected to be just as successful.

Her voice has long been the soundtrack to many people’s lives, making this upcoming performance not just exciting but deeply nostalgic. 

Fans can expect to hear some of her biggest hits, including Spend My Life With You, a timeless R&B classic.

Tamia first broke into the music scene in the late 90s with You Put a Move on My Heart, quickly establishing herself as a powerhouse vocalist. Over the years, she has earned multiple accolades and remains a six-time Grammy Award nominee.

From the 90s to today, Tamia has remained a powerful voice, known for heartfelt lyrics that capture both love and heartbreak. She has also collaborated with industry greats such as Brandy, Gladys Knight, and Chaka Khan. More than just another concert, Tamia’s return is a celebration of music that has stood the test of time.
