The Market Theatre

The award-winning Market Theatre is one of the leading theatres in Johannesburg. It is a popular venue for live plays, music, dance, art and poetry. It was previously knoewn as South Africa’s “Theatre of the Struggle” because of its role during the apartheid regime.
