This 15-story, 548-room Marriott hotel south of the Las Vegas Convention Center seems all about business, with a list of amenities that includes the highest-tech wireless internet service, ergonomic desk chairs and even "Exhibitor Suites". The hotel has a sophisticated executive level with a lounge, a pool area, spa service, inviting beds and flatscreen televisions in every room. The Renaissance has neither nightclub nor casino. Still, there is one type of sin on site: Envy, a Richard Chamberlain steakhouse that serves a variety of rich comfort foods, from a Kobe filet mignon to truffle mac and cheese, with wines from a 1,500-bottle cellar. Escaping work is easy, with a monorail station nearby and the Strip a block away.
