The word “HAZA” is not a Japanese word. It is simply, the first letter of each of the owner’s family member’s names.
The owner Henry has been in the food and beverage industry for over 20 years. Haza is the result of his accumulated knowledge and experiences along with his life long dream of owning a restaurant.
His vision is simple, “to provide an experience all patrons would treasure so dearly“. Henry spent two years planning, designing, and even building Haza. His attention to detail can be seen in the creation of the menu, taste and texture of the food, and in pairing of the drinks. His goal is to combine traditional Japanese yakitori with American presentation. But make no mistake, you won’t find “fusion food” here.
Haza isn’t just about being a restaurant, it’s about the experience. We hope your experiences at Haza will become memories you “treasure so dearly”.
