Gold Sounds Festival

Taking place at Leeds University's Students' Union on the upcoming May bank holiday Monday, Gold Sounds Festival's line-up reads uncannily like that of this year's Dot to Dot. No bad thing, given that names include noisy South Londoners Fat White Family, Madrid's up-and-coming garage/lo-fi outfit Hinds, Manchester post-punk queens PINS, surf-psych three-piece The Wytches and Glaswegian duo Honeyblood, along with Happyness, Colleen Green, Pity Sex Big Deal and many others.

Together these acts certainly paint a good picture of the strong guitar-led sounds doing the rounds these days.
