As if Venice doesn't already have enough to offer with its historic buildings, elegant gondolas and iconic canals, Venice will this year be premiering a contemporary music and arts festival: MORE. To celebrate the newest addition to the festival calendar, one lucky Time Out reader and their guest will win return flights to Venice from London Gatwick, three nights' accommodation at Venice Certosa Hotel and tickets to the four day Venetian festival.
Festival passes allow access to the city's famous Biennale art exhibition, so you can admire the work of some of the world's finest artists before dancing the night away at four days of gigs and parties. The line up already includes Yuksek, Agoria, Poni Hoax, Nhar & Terranova, les Radis Sanglants, Bottin and Spiller, and the gigs will take place in different parts of the city each night, so you'll get the full experience of contemporary Venice.
For your chance to win, just answer the question below. Terms and conditions apply. By entering this competition you agree to receive relevant communications from Time Out including news, events, offers and competitions. This competition will close at midnight on May 05 2013.
You haven't 'done' Soho until you've been to a gig at The Borderline, simple as. This much-loved venue with a loyal audience has given a platform to countless bands and artists throughout its long history – stretching back over 20 years – and is still going strong today, showcasing both new and revered talent. Head in for a gig on any given day and you could find yourself moshing to rock and metal, getting busy on the dancefloor at an indie club night or perhaps soaking up the sweet tone of a folk, blues or Americana singer-songwriter. It can get a little cramped when the 275-ish capacity fills up, but that's all the better for creating an intimate atmospherewhere between artist and audience, and means you won't have to worry about elbowing your way to the front past thousands of people. A Soho musical institution. We were there when The Borderline reopened in March 2017:
Venue says: “Join us for live music up to seven nights a week (check our listings), plus late club events every Friday and Saturday night until 4am.”
