A light, politics-free, domestic comedy-drama in the vein of the Jamaican-set Rockers (1979). Bookholane's Sipho is a middle-aged man at his crossroads. Fed up with years of menial jobs at the Johannesburg stock exchange, he jacks it in, heads back to a fading relationship with his township wife and decides to set up business selling chickens. Along the way he falls foul of chicken rustlers and, later, an irate wife, who discovers he's been having an affair with the girlfriend of possibly the meanest dude in the township. The dialogue sometimes sparks into life, but overall it's somewhat rambling and monotonous.
