A very broad comedy in the 'let's put on the show right here' vein, the 'right here' being a Turkish prison jail run by Cemil, a doughty policeman. Cemil's daughter, a budding actress, has leukemia and needs a wish granted, so father marshals the motley no-goods and sets them to staging Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The story takes the best part of half an hour to pull itself together, before which it makes chaotic work of introducing the players, and after which it travels a road filled with incidental potholes. Full of close camerawork and raised voices, it's heavy-handed, cartoon stuff, but one half admires its perseverance.
