Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Jouranlism

Robert Greenwald’s pithy doc advances the uncontroversial thesis that ‘Fair and Balanced’ Fox News doesn’t report the day’s events so much as reiterate Republican Party talking points, or aim to inform viewers so much as inflame them with cant and wild conjecture. It’s no stop-the-presses bulletin that Murdoch’s network – which earned big ratings during the Iraq war – is merely a well-appointed soapbox for the GOP, but Greenwald goes about proving it with revealing interviews with former employees and deftly edited clips – including the infamous footage of Fox’s resident pit-bull Bill O’Reilly berating antiwar activist Jeremy Glick, whose father died in the 9/11 attacks.
