Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars
This film is essentially a live stand-up performance with a few slick, sick and twisted pop promos thrown in for good measure. Silverman (pictured above) is a hugely talented, albeit somewhat affected comedian. Her comedy largely comes from pushing the boundaries of taste with a huge side order of post-modern irony.

It’s not laugh-out-loud funny all the way through but she does have some toe-curlingly brilliant lines. Not to everyone’s taste but her legions of internet fans won’t be disappointed. Anyone who can come up with a line like ‘I don’t care if you think I’m a racist, I just want you to think I’m thin,’ is okay in our books.
