In ‘Juno’ Ellen Page put her baby up for adoption. In this comedy-drama, she accidentally steals one. Page plays Tallulah, a slacker who lives out of her van and is left holding the baby when the little girl’s drunken mum mistakes her for a hotel maid. ‘Tallulah’ is the directorial debut of ‘Orange Is the New Black’ writer Sian Heder, and is based on an experience she had with a mother while working as a babysitter in a Los Angeles hotel: ‘I wanted to steal her baby, but I didn’t!’

The story might remind you of Juno but I personally think that this kind of role suits Ellen Page perfectly.
This time, Ellen Page will run away with a baby she was supposed to look after and will try to and get some help / shelter from her ex-boyfriend's mother (the great Allison Janney).

Obviously, strong relationships will come out of the awkward situation...

Tallulah is a lovely movie starring two amazing actresses and I recommend it strongly!!

I'm a big fan of Ellen Page and Allison Janney so this was always likely to be a winner. It is very reminiscent of Juno and is a bit incredible in some of its plot - but overall the story is interesting, the characters very believable and it is funny, sad, sentimental and provocative in equal measure. I really enjoyed it!
