Riding a wave of goodwill generated by his star-making turn as Ari Gold on ‘Entourage’, Jeremy Piven wipes out big time with this crass and mirthless fratcom in which he plays a shitbag car salesman, Don ‘The Goods’ Ready (motto: ‘I sell cars, motherfucker’). Trailing a wake of strippers and lager, Don and his crew are summoned to Temecula, California by James Brolin’s car-lot owner. He needs them to punt 200 cars over a July holiday weekend, otherwise his business will be turned into rehearsal space for the vile Ed Helms and his boy band, sorry, ‘man band’. Swearing and innuendo are the order of the day, with most gags imploding midway and climaxing in a mess of semi-improvised cussing. A throng of outrageous supporting characters do little to salvage this stalled effort.
