A sad film, a kind of traction engine version of Genevieve, with Michael Craig as the man of the future (he's an aircraft designer) getting into trouble because of his love of the past, and finally solving his problems through the realisation that 'Britain is the place of continuity...' etc. Thematically the film makes (reactionary) sense, but cinematically it's a disaster. Scenes at Henley, Ascot and Woburn are supplemented by the Duke of Bedford in person.
