Time Out says

After declaring Pakistan as India’s ‘enemy’ in his irresponsible blockbuster ‘Gadar’ (2001), Sharma’s latest target is the British Empire. Set in the last days of the Raj, this tiresome tale focuses on Veer (S Khan), a low-caste warrior who vows to behead every Britisher in order to free his ‘Motherland’. Before the slaughter, our shirtless gym-bunny hero hams his way to ‘Tribal School’ in London, courts a wooden chubby Indian princess (Z Khan) and rescues a leggy white ‘memsaab’ (Lazarus, a former Miss UK) from a fake tiger. This violent xenophobic ‘historical’ dross drones on, often in slow motion, assaulting the viewer with its own warped bolly-view of Indian history. The result is a lengthy, laughable, vacuous version of ‘Gladiator’ with endless tuneless songs.
