Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

A deli-turned-café that packs in delicious homemade cakes, Spanish-inspired lunches and coffee, served amid shelves of tempting produce

Papadeli’s windows glisten with enticing treats, giving you a real taste of what you can expect within. It was set up as a deli in 2002 by Simon MacDonnell, but soon made the move to becoming a café, and has been offering delicious homemade food and coffee ever since.

You can either take a seat downstairs among the prolific delicatessen produce, or upstairs in the café. Inspired by the produce of Spain, the food is a mix of delicious salads, and lunchtime specials include the likes of frittata, all made from top-notch ingredients. For breakfast, you really can’t go wrong with one of the cracking bacon butties and a great cup of coffee.

However, be warned; it takes some serious self-restraint not to spend a fortune on the incredible range of produce for sale. From olives and bread, to artisan chocolates, the temptation is huge. We defy you to stick to just coffee and cake.
