Brother’s Estate, Clozier, St. John

You can’t leave an island without a selfie against a backdrop of red, green and gold. For the signature money shot, jump out at De Real Bamboo Bar in the parish of St. Patrick. Owner Laza spent a considerable amount of time decorating this beachfront bar, so it’s practically your duty to stop by for a drink and some pics.

Mt. Rodney Beach, St. Patrick

Grenada’s most ‘gram-worthy grub lives at Container Park, a collection of small food outlets housed in shipping containers. Whatever you go for, be sure to leave room for a stop at Oui Papa. Its ice cream – made with locally sourced ingredients and inspired by the flavours of the Caribbean – tastes every bit as good as it looks. 

True Blue, St. George’s

Should the blissed-out vibes of Grenada somehow not be chilled enough for you, take a boat north to Carriacou, Grenada’s tiny sister island. Off The Hook is one of just a handful of bars on the island, where you can grab a rum cocktail, a big plate of seafood and get lazy on the white sand beaches. #paradise

Accessible by water taxi from Carriacou, Sandy Island is a tiny strip of white sand beach. It’s also uninhabited, so depending on your timing, you could find you have the place to yourself. Remember to pack water and food, and with zero chance of being photobombed, be sure to take advantage of the photogenic scenery.
