The five most Instagrammable places in Saint Lucia

The historic hideout of the pirate Jambe de Bois, Pigeon Island was connected to the mainland by a causeway in the ’70s. Drive on over and hike up to Fort Rodney, where you will be met with a breathtaking view of Rodney Bay to the south. You can also pose in the ruins of a British garrison, stop in at the museum or visit one of the two beaches.

The best place on the island to catch a peek of the once-endangered Amazona aersicolor, the colourful and magnificent Saint Lucian Parrot. The trail was blazed by French soldiers during World War II and links-up with the Edmund Forest Reserve. You can also pass by La Tille Falls on the way.
