Artist Meredith Hayden transformed her winter into spring this year by painting with sliced produce. Fruits and vegetables are used like brushes, rollers, and stamps with acrylic paint. Her “Art Salad” collection is about the experience of appreciating the moment, art and music, nourishment and life.
The Opening Celebration for this event will be on Friday, May 13, 6-8 p.m. at the Highlands Market. Since music was integral in the making of the art, Eve Polley will play fun flute at the show.
The show runs through June 31.
