Last year, artist Darío Villalba died at age 79 after a fascinating life and career spent in the fields of painting, photography and even Olympic figure skating for Spain. He had one of the most unique points of view in pop art, and this exhibition explores that perspective and looks at his recurring themes such as loneliness and death. Among other pieces, you can see his ‘Encapsulados’ (‘The Encapsulated’), installations that combine photography with other materials and which accelerated Villalba’s rise to fame.
