Some of the best images from post–Civil War and post-Franco Spain were shot by Eugeni Forcano, winner of the 2012 National Photography Prize. These 150 black-and-white photographs (some are in colour, but they're rather experimental) immerse us in the '60s and part of the '70s, mainly in Barcelona.
Why see it? It's worth getting to know more about that time in Spain's history through the work of a top witness who was captivated by the human dimension and social events.
