Sara Baras

Cádiz native Sara Baras, one of the best of modern flamenco dancers and choreographers, brings her top technique together with great artistic ambition in the MadGarden Festival to present her latest show, 'Voces' ('Voices'). This tribute to the emblematic figures of the art of flamenco is a pantheon inhabited by the likes of Paco de Lucía, Antonio Gades, Camarón de la Isla, Enrique Morente and Moraíto. The portraits of legendary dancers, singers and musicians grace the stage and are the nexus of a work that shows the glory and the pain of flamenco.
