Calling all music fans. One of the guitars used by Elbow musician Mark Potter is up for grabs this festive season.

Award-winning band Elbow have donated a mahogany Godwin Montreal guitar that has been used in their live shows to Manc-based charity MAG (Mines Advisory Group), and the charity is selling it on eBay RIGHT NOW!

You still here? Music fans are welcome to bid for the guitar as part of the 'Music Beats Mines' auction which ends in a matter of days (December 7). It's in excellent condition and is signed by all five band members.

Humanitarian charity MAG finds and destroys landmines and weapons to help prevent injury and save lives.

If a guitar playing doesn't strike a chord with your musical capabilities how about a signed Billy Bragg picture or a CD signed by Sinead O'Connor? There are a load more items up for auction with all proceeds going to the charity.

Not many people seem to have caught on yet (unless you're all just being canny last-minute bidders) so the current price for the guitar is a bargain £1291 with only 3 days left to bid. For more info on the guitar and for the chance to own it, have a gander at the eBay page here.
