Everyone loves a freebie, and if you're a beer lover you're in luck this weekend.
Chorlton Brewing Co (who, despite the name, are actually based in Ardwick) are opening up their doors for the bank holiday weekend and offering a drink on the house to everyone who visits.
There are some restrictions – you have to register online in advance and it’s as single free 1/3 of their Dark Matter (a 6.8% Imperial Black Gose) per visitor so it’s not quite a free piss-up in a brewery but instead a chance to sample the wares of one of the city’s newer beer producers.
It’s all part of an open weekend which also includes opportunities to meet brewers from Chorlton, Mad Hatter and Geipel, a sensory tasting workshop and a chance to tour the space and watch the brewers in action. Their beer will also be available to buy to drink in or take home.
Free beer? We’ll drink to that!
