Get Uber lucky and find some BackseatArt today

Have you ever got into a taxi and found the previous client's belongings on the back seat? Maybe it was a phone, a hat, a brolly, even a wallet. Naturally, as all Time Out readers are good citizens, you tapped on the driver's window and handed it over.

Well, today, you may find something in a taxi which you can keep.

Cab company Uber have launched BackseatArt, whereby local artists have given pieces of work and they've been hidden away in the seat pocket of the cars.

The artworks are limited edition prints by local artists selected from hundreds of submissions. Creativepool and SUITCASE chose 11 artists to showcase exclusively for Uber riders. 

So, how do you get your hands on one? Simply book a ride with Uber between 3pm and 8pm today (Wed 16 September), take a peek inside the seat pocket and see if there's something there for you...
