If you're after great things to do in Manchester this summer then ask yourself, who doesn't love a dinosaur?

Sure, we're used to seeing them brought to life on screen, but imagine coming face to face with the pre-historic beasts out in the wilds...

Wythenshawe Park to be exact. Dino Kingdom has over a hundred dinosaurs in an outdoor exploration that features life-like models, sound effects, 3D and AI technology, all designed to bring the long-extinct animals back to life.

And whilst the emphasis is on fun, there's an educational element too for budding paleontologists to sink their teeth into with an excavation sandpit, dinosaur eggs, fossils,
volcanoes, a giant dinosaur skeleton head, and a walk-through fossil tunnel.

As if that's not enough for a family day out, fairground rides will be topping up the thrills to make sure the little ones go home absolutely exhausted.

Dino Kingdom at Wythenshawe Park, Friday July 23 - Sunday August 15 2021. Tickets £15/£13. www.dinokingdom.com
