Krispy Krunchy Chicken, the convenience store-based fried chicken franchise, partners with James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz on a one-day pop-up that’s going to wow your tastebuds and blow your summer diet in one fell swoop. Schwartz is taking the Cajun-style bird to the Far East, stuffing it into a Martin’s potato bun and topping it with kimchi and kimchi ranch sauce, plus melted American cheese. It’s part southern, part Asian and packed full of flavor. The sandwich is available solo ($10) or with a side of fries or greens ($15). The special collab meal is only available on Saturday, August 1, from noon to 3pm or until sold out. Pre-order is available now and they will definitely go fast.
